E. Monawar is a former member of the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force, which defends against national security threats in terrorism. In that capacity, he was tasked with resolving complex international security challenges in remote and challenging high risk areas to diffuse terrorism threats. He is involved in counterterrorism, threat financing, and high-value targeting and negotiations.

He has provided expertise and operational services to various government agencies and routinely provides strategic, technical, and operational solutions in connection with high risk situations to address international security.

In the Middle East, he has worked with communities to develop a path toward peace, resiliency and stability and is an expert in respect of Middle East security concerns.
